St. Joseph Catholic Parish is seeking a qualified and faithful Pastoral Music Coordinator to lead our growing music ministry in support of beautiful, prayerful, and vibrant liturgy. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to blend traditional Catholic music with reverent contemporary compositions in service to the parish community.

Requirements:Key Responsibilities
· Plan and lead music for all weekend Masses and major liturgical feasts
· Incorporate Gregorian chant, sacred hymnody, and traditional choral repertoire
· Integrate contemporary liturgical music that aligns with Catholic teaching
· Direct adult choir, cantors, and instrumentalists
· Provide weekly rehearsals and coordinate special music for holidays
· Collaborate as necessary with clergy and parish staff on liturgical planning
· Support music for weddings, funerals, and devotional gatherings
· Maintain music library, equipment, and licensing
· Foster active participation through musical formation and leadership
Preferred Qualifications
· Strong communication and pastoral leadership skills
· Experience in Catholic liturgical music (both traditional and contemporary styles)
· Proficiency in choral directing and piano/keyboard accompaniment
· Familiarity with liturgical documents (GIRM, Sing to the Lord, etc.)
· Desire to serve the Church through music that lifts the heart to God
