The Adobe Public Policy and Government Relations team is looking for an innovative and well-connected federal government relations professional to work and develop in a dynamic and exciting environment. The successful candidate will possess excellent communications and writing ability, high energy level, and have a curiosity about the constantly evolving technology policy and modernizing government through IT advancements. The position reports to the Director of Government Relations and Public Policy in Adobe's Washington, DC office. As a member of the US Federal Government Relations team, you will advocate for Adobe products and policy with a specific focus on the executive branch. Have awareness of and work closely with the wider Adobe government relations team to include legislative affairs, policy and global counterparts. Collaborate with key leaders in the US Government to establish partnerships improving Adobe's brand recognition and perspectives. Focus on technology policy, including AI, IT modernization and content authenticity as well as creative rights and consumer protection. Support the development of important business objectives through internal planning and external implementation. Work closely with the Adobe public sector sales team to further our US Government relationships through product knowledge and awareness. Engage at government-industry events and trade association meetings on behalf of Adobe; strategically build out your portfolio of partnerships and engagements in the advancement of Adobe’s policy priorities. Requirements include 5+ years of relevant experience, familiarity with US Federal government processes, structures, and functions, awareness of key technology policy pertinent to Adobe, understanding of AI concepts impacting Adobe, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to develop strong points of view and debate them, project management skills, resourcefulness, decisiveness, self-starter attitude, and willingness to give and receive feedback. Experience in the executive branch or knowledge of the budgetary process is a plus.
