Position Summary

This 30-40 hour per week position includes benefits and offers an opportunity to support our clients in several key functional areas of HR. Among these areas are: payroll processing, recruiting projects, consulting projects (reports, assessment, workshop development, etc.) and some administrative tasks such as database updates. Each day will be a little different. Occasional onsite work throughout Michigan may be required.  Activities could include:

 
  • Recruiting activities, such as sourcing and reviewing talent, scheduling interviews, etc.  
  • Manage communication and relationships with candidates.
  • Support various HR consulting projects as assigned.
  • Managing and maintaining sensitive data.
  • Support overall recruiting goals and processes.
  • Process payroll
  • Create HR templates
  • Administrative duties as assigned, such as data management.
This position pays $20-22 per hour depending on qualifications. Your schedule can range from 30-40 hours per week depending on your preference. 

 
About You:

 
  • Interest in becoming an expert in payroll.
  • Some exposure or experience in HR
  • Some education with HR-focused coursework. Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred but not required.
  • Able to occasionally travel be onsite with clients
  • Able to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Comfortable with learning new technology and software systems
