Cleans areas of responsibility utilizing proper procedures and maintains productivity and cost effectiveness. Minimum qualifications include passing WV DHHR Protected Services Record Check and WV CARES fingerprint-based criminal background check if assigned to certain centers. Preferred qualification is a High School Diploma or Equivalent. Core duties include performing housekeeping duties, maintaining cleanliness and productivity, effective communication, contributing to organizational goals, teamwork, meeting job standards, treating patients and staff with respect, timely follow-up with customers, adherence to hospital policies, participation in continuous improvement, supporting change, and ownership of decisions. Physical requirements include ability to lift, push or pull 50 pounds. Work environment includes exposure to cleaning products and chemicals. Skills required include teamwork orientation and ability to understand written and oral communication. Scheduled weekly hours are 40, with a non-exempt shift status.
